Outdoor Activity and Adventure provide limitless opportunities for children to exercise their thinking and problem-solving abilities. Did you realize that we use language when we think, reason and solve problems? Working out how to fix the cubby house, or wondering where leaves come from requires inner intellectual thinking and Courage.
One 2019
study found that
increased childhood exposure to fresh air and greenery
is associated with better mental health later in life. In the study,
kids who grew up in areas with more green space had a lower risk of
developing psychiatric disorders than their peers who did not. We will have more courage to fight the problem later in LIFE.
